Overview
Inwhite is a premium interior design and architecture firm whose work was significantly better than their market positioning suggested. Their previous brand — assembled informally over years — looked like a startup, not a firm commanding premium project fees.
The Challenge
The brief was precise: the brand needed to signal quality, restraint, and expertise at a glance — before a potential client read anything. It needed to work in a city where first impressions are formed in seconds and luxury is communicated through what's absent, not what's present.

The Solution
We built a brand system around the concept of negative space — the idea that in premium design, what you leave out matters more than what you put in. The logomark, typography, and colour palette all embody restraint. The website mirrors the same principle: generous whitespace, editorial photography, minimal copy.
Process
Strategy
Brand positioning workshop to define the target client profile, competitive landscape, and the single most important thing the brand needed to communicate. That single thing: expertise through restraint.
Identity Design
Three distinct logomark concepts, each exploring a different interpretation of the positioning. The chosen direction — a geometric form built on the golden ratio — took four rounds of refinement to reach its final state.
Web Design & Build
A Next.js website designed for editorial quality. Project photography commissioned and art-directed to be consistent with the brand. Every page built to load in under 1.5 seconds.
"We were getting enquiries from clients we'd never have reached before — the kind of projects we actually want to do. The brand did that. It changed how people perceive us before we've said a word."
