Overview
Dinoro is a multi-tenant restaurant SaaS platform built from the ground up for Indian restaurants. It handles everything a modern restaurant needs digitally — online ordering, WhatsApp-based order placement, real-time kitchen order printing, table management, subscription billing, and a super admin layer to manage all restaurants from one place.
The Challenge
Indian restaurants needed a SaaS solution that understood their actual workflow — WhatsApp orders, kitchen printers, multi-location operations, and regional payment gateways. Generic global platforms didn't fit. The challenge was building a platform flexible enough for any restaurant while keeping each tenant's data, settings, and operations completely isolated.
The Solution
We built Dinoro on a multi-tenant architecture using Next.js, NestJS, and PostgreSQL — each restaurant operates on its own subdomain with isolated data. WhatsApp Cloud API handles ordering via simple codes. A TCP bridge connects the platform to physical network printers for real-time KOT printing. Razorpay handles subscriptions and payments. A super admin dashboard gives full visibility across all tenants.

Architecture
Designed a multi-tenant system where each restaurant gets its own subdomain, isolated database schema, and independent configuration — while sharing core infrastructure. Subscription tiers (Starter, Growth, Scale) enforced at the API level.
Core Platform
Built the ordering engine, menu management, table system, and customer portal. WhatsApp Cloud API integration lets customers place orders by sending a simple code — no app download required.
Kitchen & Print System
Built a local print agent that runs on the restaurant's network, listens for real-time KOT events via Supabase Realtime, and sends print jobs directly to thermal printers over TCP — zero manual intervention.
Launch & Operations
Onboarded live restaurants across Andhra Pradesh. Ongoing sprint adding order modification flows, food issue reporting, and a marketing site with accurate subscription pricing tiers.
